Greetings from Seva Kendra Calcutta, India.

Welcome to the newly designed website of SKC.

On December 14, 1973, Seva Kendra Calcutta, the official Relief and Development Society of the Archdiocese of Calcutta was registered under the W.B. Societies’ Act 1961. On December 14, 2012 we will have completed 39 years and step into the Ruby Jubilee Year. We will celebrate this momentous occasion in keeping with the theme:

“40 YEARS, BRINGING HOPE AND HEALING”

Looking back at the years gone by we could rejoice at the loving service rendered by this institution in instilling ‘Hope and Healing’ to numerous people across the entire Archdiocese of Calcutta, reading out to the most in need without any distinction whatsoever. During this year we will re-dedicate ourselves to serve our people with renewed zeal and deeper commitment. We look forward to your support and involvement in the various programmes that we have decided to undertake. If we give without counting the cost on behalf of the most vulnerable of our society, we will certainly bring about a phenomenal change- a change that will create a conducive environment for the inclusive growth and development of all.
